BUILDING OHANA:  Things to be done...

Establish Structural Framework 
  • Identifying social architecture of community:  first, the vulnerable population who will reside at the heart of the Ohana Community, as well its various resident/volunteer/benificiaries of support

  • Determining a comprehensive financial strategy for all aspects of BUILDING OHANA

  • Indentifying law and policy as regards the building and operations of Ohana community

  • Developing site and architectural designs contiguous with values and needs of community

Program Development
  • Articulating needs and outcomes to be addressed by intentional community

  • Establishing principles for program development 

  • Describing practices and policies for community supports and services 

  • Detailing necessary resources for sustainable implementation (funding, physical plant, community partnerships, volunteer, administrative, etc.)
